If I had to add sound to a past animation I would add it to the seasons animation and put festive music for each season like christmas in the winter and halloween in autumn and birds chirping in spring.
The first one I would add a segment from the Nightmare Before Christmas movie soundtrack. I would add a layer called autumn_snd and make it play from frame 1 to frame 60.
The second one would be christmas music like the bells jingling or sleigh sounds or whatever from frame 61 to frame 140 in a layer called winter_snd.
The third would be birds chirping and kids laughing from frame 141 to the end in a layer named spring_snd.
